Great Earl Single Grain Irish Whiskey is a combination of Rechar-barrelled grain Irish whiskey and virgin oak grain, matured for 45 months and then merged to spend a further minimum period of 3 months in ex-Sangiovese casks, sourced exclusively for us from the Lazio region of Italy, a nod to the final resting place of the Great Earl in the Vatican in Rome. Nose:
  • Sweet, candy- like
  • Vanilla and cask influence, woody
  • Buttery/marzipan
Colour: A mid-golden colour with a little hint of the ruby red of the Sangiovese cask coming through in a slightly pinkish tinge. Taste:
  • Sweet, ripe blackberry & honey
  • A hint of tartness/sharpness, a little elderberry
  • Also a hint of white pepper spice and a little tannin from the wine
Finish:
  • Creamy mouth feel: coats the mouth nicely.
  • Mid-bodied
  • Decent length, strong.

Do all items come gift boxed?

All hampers on our website are presented in our beautiful branded giftboxes or baskets and handtied with our signature ribbon.

When will my delivery arrive?

Our courier service is normally next day delivery if order is placed before 12pm, however at peak season times, e.g. Christmas, bank holiday weekends or Friday, orders it may take up to three days.

If you have added a preferred delivery date we will accommodate that information ahead of time for your recipient to receive their gift on or just before that date.

Is it possible to add a personalised gift message?

Yes, we offer a free personalised gift message with every
order. You will be asked as part of the checkout process to enter your message
which will be printed on our signature gift card and sent alongside your order.
This feature is optional.
